LIVIVA was started in 2003 by a health-conscious mother, Laura, who was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy. Given only one option – insulin shots – Laura went looking for a better solution that would be both all-natural and healthier.
By adopting a diet low in carbohydrates and ketogenics, Laura was able to continually lower her blood sugar levels without medication. Through this personal journey, LIVIVA was born, with a mission to provide healthy plant-based foods, rich in nutrients and lower in carbohydrates compared to traditional pasta.

- The shelf life of our Bean Pastas is 24 months and 14 months for our Shirataki pastas.
- For Bean Pasta: Boil water, add pasta and simmer 2-4 minutes or until al dente. Rinse pasta immediately with cold water and drain. Serve with your favourite sauce or vegetables. For Shirataki Pasta: Rinse thoroughly and drain. Be sure to squeeze out all excess water. Dry with paper towel. Serve with your favorite sauce or vegetables.
- Shirataki has no allergens present. In Bean pasta, there is soy present.
