Our jerky is made in small batches but you’ll eat it in big handfuls. Each impossibly tender bite is packed with flavor, smoked to perfection and leaves you craving more.
Our special recipe includes unique ingredients like matcha and cardamom to make this unlike any jerky you’ve ever tried. From our grass-fed & finished beef to our authentic cherry wood smoke, every detail matters. But what we don’t put into it is just as important—cows might fly before we add soy, cane sugar or any extra junk.
About the Brand
The story behind my jerky began in 2004 when my wife was diagnosed with celiac disease. Her diagnosis forever changed how our family ate, shopped, and lived (for the better). Up until the last few years, it proved very difficult to find clean, healthy snacks where we didn’t have to compromise on flavor. Jerky, a family favorite, was no exception. It was impossible to find a product without soy, cane sugar, or other preservatives that we were trying to avoid.
Did you know most jerky brands don’t even use real smoke? Needless to say, when label watching for allergy concerns, we were coming up short—and hungry. So, I decided to make my own. Since then, I’ve been passionately dedicated to making a product that is truly Paleo, but more importantly, that tastes delicious. There are plenty of healthy jerky brands out there, but they all tasted “healthy”. I truly believe it’s our unparalleled taste and texture that set us apart. I’m confident that when people say they don’t like jerky, they’ve just never tried it like mine. I have received extremely favorable feedback from friends and family that I‘ve shared my jerky with, and now I’m excited to share it with you. So from my family to yours…enjoy.

- Our jerky is certified gluten-free with The Gluten-Free Manufacturing Program (GFMP), endorsed by the National Celiac Association.
- PREVAIL jerky is completely soy-free. We use Organic coconut aminos, a popular Paleo soy sauce substitute, to give our Umami and Lemongrass flavors their amazing and unique flavor profiles.
- Yes, our jerky is Free-From all the Top 8 Allergens: Dairy, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts (we do contain coconut sugar, vinegar and aminos), Fish, Shellfish, Wheat & Soy. Our co-packing facility is dedicated free of peanut, tree nut (not including coconut), egg, fish, shellfish, and mustard.
- Since there are no artificial preservatives it is best to refrigerate our product if you don’t eat it in one sitting…but we won’t judge if you do.
- This is one of the most commonly asked FAQs related to our 100% grass fed beef jerky and 100% free range turkey jerky. As a family who always struggled to find clean, healthy jerky products until we finally started making our own, we understand and commend your efforts to find healthy snacks that are preservative-free. Our passion for making clean, healthy, high protein snacks stems from our dedication to making clean eating on-the-go a reality. We use coconut sugar and salts to help cure the meat and then smoke it with Cherry Wood to naturally preserve it (the natural smoke also happens to add tons of flavor). Since we don’t use additives to preserve our product, please keep refrigerated after opening.
- All of our jerky is made Nebraska. Our product is the first product run in the morning after the strict HACCP level cleaning the night prior to ensure that there is no cross-contamination. Regulators are regularly on site to ensure the highest standards are met. We are also Paleo Certified, which means the Paleo Foundation reviews the origins of every ingredient that we use to make sure that there is no contamination of grains, soy, gluten or dairy along the way.
